Original Marathon X

Original Marathon returns Saturday 13 March 2027 for only the 10th running of this historic route. Windsor Castle to White City - London's newest, oldest marathon.

The first EVER 26.2 mile marathon was at the London 1908 Olympic Games, the route was not re-run until 1933 to 1937 as the Polytechnic Marathon. In 2024, a pioneering group of runners set out on the first event on this historic course for over 80 years as Original Marathon VII. The event doubled in size the following year for Original Marathon VIII and again for Original Marathon IX (2026).
