Original Marathon IX
Original Marathon returns Saturday 7 March 2026 for only the 9th running of this historic route. Windsor Castle to White City - London's newest, oldest marathon. The first release of tickets will be in the week beginning 16 June 2025 - register your interest to be notified when we launch.

The first EVER 26.2 mile marathon was at the London 1908 Olympic Games, the route was not re-run until 1933 to 1937 as the Polytechnic Marathon. In 2024, a pioneering group of runners set out on the first event on this historic course for over 80 years.

In 2026, you too can run in the footsteps of legends and take part in Original Marathon IX.
