Registration at Original Marathon

Original Marathon returns Saturday 13 March 2027. The 2027 version will be only the 10th event event run on the route of the first EVER 26.2mile marathon. The previous events being the Marathon Race of the London 1908 Olympic Games, The Polytchnic Marathons (1933-37) and Original Marathons in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

So, we're calling the 2027 event - Original Marathon X.

We're planning to increase the size of the event to give more runners the chance to tick off this bucket list event and to 'run in the footsteps of legends'. Original Marathon sold out in each of our previous 3 events, as we expect it to do so again. You too could be passing the same pubs, churches and houses as the pioneers of our sport did over 119 years ago.

We'll be once again welcoming participants from around the globe to Windsor, and we'll be celebrating with them in White City (London), as they cross the actual finish line location of the London 1908 Olympic Games Marathon Race.

In 1908, 75 entered the race, 55 started, 28 finished, of which one was famously DQ's. How may will enter Original Marathon in 2027, and will you be one of them?
